FTP Manager
What's an FTP Manager? How much useful is it when you are maintaining a web site?
Accessing your web connect via FTP will be quick and easy. You will be able to upload & download files and directories with just a couple of clicks. Apart from managing the entire content, you can also grant other users access to a specific section of your web hosting account without granting them access to your Control Panel where they can see private e-mails or other sensitive details they are not supposed to. You can do this by setting up a different FTP account that they can use to connect only to one directory within the web hosting account. This feature is pretty useful if you use several web designers or in case you use an application like FrontPage or Dreamweaver to administer multiple Internet sites at the same time, since you can have a separate FTP account for each website or each person. In this case, it’s important to be able to manage your FTP accounts without any hassles.

FTP Manager in Cloud Hosting
If you open a
cloud hosting account with us, you will be able to access the rather powerful FTP Manager tool, which is an integral part of our custom-built Hepsia website hosting Control Panel. The tool includes a number of different options, apart from the possibility to create or delete FTP accounts. You’ll be able to see the access path for each account and by clicking on it, you can change it so that the account will access a separate directory. Downloadable auto-configuration files are available too, so you won’t need to set up anything manually – you can simply download the respective file for CyberDuck, FileZilla or Core FTP and install it on your personal computer. To make the administration itself simpler, the FTP Manager will permit you to view all the accounts that you’ve set up in alphabetical order, based on either the username or the access path.

FTP Manager in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our
semi-dedicated server accounts are managed via the user-friendly, custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel. One of its sections – the FTP Manager, is dedicated to managing your FTP accounts and anything associated with them, so you can administer all the accounts swiftly and effortlessly. It will take a single click of the mouse to create a brand-new account, to delete an active one or simply to edit its password. You can also view the full list of all your accounts in this section of the Control Panel and, for the sake of convenience, you can sort them in alphabetical order – ascending or descending, either by their access path or by username. Changing the path for a certain account is also quite easy – you will simply have to click on it and choose the new folder in the pop-up that will appear, so you will not have to create a brand-new account in case you simply want to define what web files an existing account can access. You can also take advantage of auto-config files for widely used FTP programs such as Core FTP and FileZilla.
