Access Log Manager
What's the purpose of the Access Log Manager? What type of information will it provide?
An access log is a complete list of all the files that were accessed by the visitors of a particular site. Every file which was requested for some reason shall be listed, so if you have only one webpage with 3 embedded graphics, one video and one embedded text file, as an illustration, the access log will contain a total of 6 entries - one for every of the six files that were accessed when the site visitor opened the webpage. A log usually offers the file name and path, the date, as well as the visitor’s Operating System, browser and IP address. Occasionally you can also find the referrer websites that sent the visitors to your Internet site. The data which an access log file includes is in human-readable plain text format. It can also be processed by special software on a laptop or computer and used to prepare reports on the overall performance of an Internet site, in addition to the web statistics your web hosting server may have produced.

Access Log Manager in Cloud Hosting
Our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel has a section focused on various logs and the access logs are among them. As you sign in to your
cloud hosting account and visit this section, you'll find a list of all the
domain names and subdomains you have. All it takes to allow the generation of access logs is to click on a button that'll be available next to every single domain/subdomain. If the option is active, you shall see a download link along with the file size so far, so you'll be able to save the file to your laptop or computer and examine it or process it with some application. Enabling or disabling the logs becomes effective instantly, so if you don't need one, you could stop it with just a mouse click from the same section of the Control Panel. You will still have the ability to access the already developed content by simply clicking the Download link.

Access Log Manager in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our sophisticated hosting platform will generate access logs for every single site hosted inside a
semi-dedicated server account, provided that this function is activated. All domain names and subdomains that you have will be listed inside the Access/Error Logs section of the Hepsia CP, which we offer with all of the accounts, so if you want our system to start generating logs for any of them, you should just click on the small button on the right side of the respective domain/subdomain and change the default Off option to On. You may disable this function anytime by following exactly the same steps. You can find a Download link for every single log inside the exact same section of the Control Panel, so you may save the content gathered by our system in .txt format with no more than a click. An existing log file could be downloaded even after the option has been deactivated, so you'll still be able to look at the data that's already been generated.
